Well, I've fallen away from my blog again.  In the last couple of weeks Chris has gotten very concerned with passing his DOT physical that is coming up and decided to go extreme and follow the ketogenic diet.  He's doing fairly good on it, dropping 20 pounds and has not had too many cravings.  I stuck with it for a week and a half, did drop 10 pounds, but just can't follow it any longer.  Tooo extreme.

I really don't want to go back to tracking food so am going to try the blog again.  Try to be mindful, etc.  Have not had too much success with this approach either, but with Chris sticking with the K-diet we have very little tempting food in the house which is really how it should be.  No junk, no processed, no candy, etc.  I have added back some carb foods like oatmeal, high fiber bread, but other wise there are no processed foods in our pantry right now.

So, back to the blog and hopefully just eating more mindfully and healthfully.
