Wow, I did not realize it's been so long since I posted in my blog. And today it is February 1. Ground Hog Day and we are getting socked with a blizzard! Supposed to get well over a foot of snow, maybe more. And windy...it will be blizzard conditions at least through tomorrow evening. I think tomorrow I will bake some bread. That seems like a good thing to do when you can't go outside.
Life has been chugging along without much excitement, which is a good thing. Been busy at church, with both my jobs. Chris is working at Family Express and really seems to enjoy it. He is making some progress in his ministry quest. We did get his background check paid for and in the next day or so he will pay for his registration with the district conference of the Methodist church. I dug out what I had left of my Barbie dolls from childhood and decided to sell them on Ebay. I had no idea I would sell them for what I sold them for. Made 450.00! So, we can pay for his registration, and apply some to other bills and put a little away in the savings.
2011 is starting off a bit easier then 2010 and for that I am grateful. Last year was a year like no other with both good and bad things in our life. But, it was also a year I realized that God is good, no matter what. And he will never give you more then you can handle even when it doesn't seem like it. I also learned how wonderful our church family is! And the importance of having good, supportive friends.
